On Monday, Sunny will have her first.... root canal!! WOHOO!! (Note the sarcasm) For the past week or so she has been complaining AND complaining about her tooth, ear, head, jaw... heck, everything hurt her. Thanks to her sister, Lindsay, she was able to get in to the endodontist this morning. Once there, he broke the wonderful news that she had an abscessed tooth and needed a root canal. This is one first she would soon like to forget :) Stay tuned for pictures... okay, maybe not!
*UPDATE* Just as I finished writing this post, Lindsay called to see if I could come back to the office. Her doctor just had a last minute cancellation and decided it would be best if I had the root canal done today instead of on Monday. Not what I was expecting! I was sweating bullets as I drove back and entered the office with my hands clenched so tightly that I had lost all feeling in my fingers. 100 shots later (okay, maybe that is a little bit of an exaggeration) they had me numbed up. There are a few other things I would have rather done - cleaning my toilets, being chased by rabid dogs, you know stuff like that. The only upside to a root canal is I knew I would be able to guilt Adam into taking me for frozen yogurt. I was right :) I'm not sure a root canal is worth it... but this yogurt sure is good!
