We told you it was a month full of birthdays and today was one of the most important... at least in my book! I want to wish my husband a very, very happy birthday! I am the luckiest girl in the world and so grateful that I am married to my best friend. Adam is amazing. He is such a wonderful husband, provider and I can't wait to see him as a father. He is the hardest working person I know and always puts others needs in front of his. Because of his example, I am constantly striving to improve myself and our family. His testimony of the gospel is strong, he loves life and all it has to offer and makes me smile every day! Adam, I hope you have an amazing birthday. I am so excited for this year and all the adventures we are about to take together... this is only the beginning! I love you!!
We were able to celebrate his birthday ALL day today :) Unfortunately, he did have to go to work but I was able to meet him for lunch at Indigo Joe's, one of Adam's favorite restaurants. I love it when we get to meet for lunch. After he got home we continued our celebration at Texas Roadhouse where I made sure the waitresses sang to him and made him sit on a saddle attached to a stool. I forgot my camera or you KNOW I would have posted that picture for everyone to see :) For his birthday we always have his favorite, apple pie, but this year he requested a yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Everyone in our family knows how much he loves apple pie so for the past few months, he was bombarded with it. I think his exact words when he texted me and asked for a cake instead was "too much pie isn't good for my pie hole!" He's such a dork and this is just another example of why I love him so!! He was able to open up some gifts and seemed pretty happy with a new game for the wii, tennis shoes and "The Office" season 4, not to mention all the stuff from the rest of our family. We sure are lucky to have so many people that love and care for us.
All in all, I think it was a pretty good day around here! He was smiling when he got home as he told me how many people called and texted him throughout the day. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. Our friends and family rock :)
