Christmas Eve Bash

We spent Christmas Eve with Sunny's family this year. Her family usually goes out to dinner and then meets at her aunt's and uncle's house for a "special" Christmas program. Aside from reading the Christmas story, we like to re-enact it. Adam usually plays the role of the donkey (g-rated version) since he does it so well, anyway. :) We also like to sing carols and eat fancy desserts that Sunny's aunt prepares. In addition, we do a gift exchange.

This year for the cousin drawing, we chose Paige and gave her an iDog. You attach your ipod to it and it dances to the music. Here's a picture of Sunny and Paige with the iDog:

This is a picture taken by Adam with a new lens Sunny got for Christmas. Nothing better than a picture of someone else taking a picture of someone else, right?

Here's Sunny's mom and step-dad singing a duet at the Christmas Eve Bash. It was beautiful. We would have performed but we didn't want to put them to shame. :)Here's our nephew and cousin. Note that he points in a unique way. We think he learned it from watching his dad drive:

We enjoy the Christmas season. It gives us a chance to spend time with family and reflect on the most wonderful gift, the birth our of Savior.
