The Korean Pear

Those of you who have been following our blog know that Sunny has been going to the dentist over the last month to get a crown installed. Today, she received her permanent crown. She is relieved to have it done! While there, the dentist gave her some fruit he had received as a gift for Christmas from one of his suppliers. It was a Korean Pear. This is a series of pictures of the mysterious fruit:

It was larger than a softball, yellow in color, and crisp like an apple but juicy like a pear. We gave Sunny's grandma a slice and she described it as "succulent and juicy." Get your head out of the gutter. She was talking about the fruit. :) It was quite delicious. We sure enjoyed it. We like to try different things and learn about other cultures. Thanks, Art, for the tooth AND the fruit!
