Well, Adam's first week at the new job went great. He got a lap top, a blackberry (that he's still trying to figure out!), and loads of information about the healthcare industry! On Wednesday and Thursday he went to meetings with the top executives of the firm to discuss the firm's future strategy. They seem like really bright people and he's excited about being involved in these types of meetings. He can put his MBA to use!
While Adam was busy trying to learn all he could about his new job, Sunny was busy finding a deal on a new LCD. She "happened" to be perusing the clearance section at Sam's Club and noticed that an LCD was for sale at an amazing price! She called Adam and told him about it and as parsimonious (aka cheap lol) as he is, even he thought it was a deal that was too good to refuse. She bought it and brought it home. That night, we watched "Napoleon Dynamite" on the new TV and were amazed with the picture quality. In fact, Pedro looked better than ever. :) A new job AND a new TV all in the same week.....it's party time at our house!
