Adventures in Babysitting

This past week flew by because our Aunt and Uncle went on vacation and asked us to watch their kids. Sunny became a taxi driver for the week and we got to spend time with our FAVORITE cousins (we had to write that because they read this blog). We got to spoil them and do everything their parents probably wouldn't want us to do :) Sonic runs at 10 pm, eating out, shopping, Sonic again, movies, staying up as late as they want... you know, everything we won't do with our own kids. LOL!

They are at such a great age. It's great being able to talk to them like adults. It's so crazy how old they are all getting. Sunny started babysitting the oldest cousin when she was 2 weeks old and 14 years later here we are. Man, that must mean Sunny is getting REALLY old! We joked to our Aunt and that they don't really need a babysitter anymore, they need a chauffeur! We started shuttling them around to volleyball practices, swimming lessons, friends' houses, mutual, etc. at 5:00 AM and didn't get everyone home until after 9:00 PM. It wears us out just thinking about it!

In between all their activities we were able to play games, go on some walks, see "College Road Trip" at the dollar theater, and make some CUTE flip flops. We are preparing them for the day when we will ask them to watch our kids.

Later in the week, we came back home to our house that was a blistering 88 degrees because we turned off the air conditioning while we were gone. For most of the weekend we relaxed. However, we decided we needed to repair a broken toilet. We took a trip to Home Depot, bought a part, and before you could say "grilled cheese sandwich," Sunny had it fixed. She's extremely handy around the house!
