Quincy's Birth Day! May 31, 2009

At 4:30 we were called back into Morgan's room and told it was time! She still had not received an epidural and by this point, there was no time! 16 minutes later of pushing and NO drugs... Quincy Morgan made her debut at 4:49 PM!!!!! Both of us were able to be in the delivery room and Adam was able to cut the umbilical cord! AMAZING!!!

We both followed Quincy as she was weighed, cleaned off, etc. She weighed in at 7 pounds 3 ounces and was 19 inches long. She managed to pee on the nurse as she was cleaning her off too :) Yep, that's our daughter!! We also were able to have the nurse take three sets of footprints (one for us, Morgan and Josh). Sunny was able to put her first diaper on.

From this point on, everything is kind of a blur :) Quincy quickly became a social butterfly as she was passed around and visited with all of the on lookers! Morgan was able to hold Quincy for the first time and immediately starting to feed her. Quincy had and still has NO problem at all in the eating department :) At this point, both of us were able to hold her for the first time! Our daughter is here!!

Quincy, we both were completely overwhelmed with love for you from the moment we saw you! You were and are perfect in every way!!
